Our Anesthesia Practitioners primarily utilize IV Sedation, also
referred to as “Twilight Anesthesia”, to keep your patients safe, and
comfortable, yet cooperative but amnestic. When local anesthesia is used
alone, patients may suffer unnecessarily from the discomfort of the
local injections or extreme tension and stress. Twilight Anesthesia
ensures that the patient will be relaxed and peaceful during surgery,
often with total amnesia throughout the entire procedure. Typically, the
patient will be awake and ready discharge within a very short time after
the conclusion of the procedure (often referred to as “Fast Track
Anesthesia”).
In addition to IV Sedation, our Anesthesia Practitioners can perform
the local injections or blocks for your patients. Our Anesthesia
Practitioners are trained and experienced in all forms of anesthesia
such as general, regional, pain management, , and various types of nerve
blocks.

Our Anesthesia Practitioners provide compact and fully
portable state-of-the-art equipment and monitors, along with all of the
necessary anesthesia supplies. The medications we use have a high safety
profile and we most often use drugs that are short acting and easily
reversible.
There is absolutely no cost to you. We conveniently
take care of anesthesia pre-authorizations/pre-certification and direct
billing of the patient's insurance carrier , without any inconvenience
to your staff. . We accept assignment from most insurance companies, and
for procedures that are not covered by medical insurance, we make
financial arrangements directly with the patient. (please refer to

Stat Anesthesia Specialists, Ltd. provides its own corporate professional
liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and
/$3,000,000 in the aggregate.. We can provide you with a Certificate of
Insurance (COI) naming your facility/office as an additional insured at your
request.

All patients are preoperatively and postoperatively evaluated by our
staff and a written patient satisfaction survey is given to each patient to
complete and return to us in order for our staff to continually evaluate and
monitor your patient's anesthesia care and experience as a part of our
Performance Improvement process. All patients receive a post operative phone
call to determine their level of satisfaction of our anesthesia services as
well as to address any questions or concerns your patients may have.
