We primarily utilize Twilight Anesthesia (IV Sedation) to keep your patients safe and very comfortable yet cooperative but amnestic. When local anesthesia is used alone, patients may suffer unnecessarily from the discomfort of the local injections or extreme tension and stress. Twilight Anesthesia ensures that the patient will be relaxed and peaceful during surgery, often with total amnesia throughout the entire procedure. The patient will be awake and ready for instructions and discharge within minutes after the end of the procedure (Fast Track Anesthesia), at which time
our provider will escort the patient to their driver's car, if possible.
In addition to Twilight Anesthesia, we can perform the local injections or blocks. If you prefer
we can also provide other forms of anesthesia such as general, regional, or various nerve blocks.
we can also provide an extra pair of skilled hands to assist in circulating in the procedure room (i.e. opening packages of sterile items, gowning the surgeon, prepping, etc.).
