Our teams of Licensed Practitioners (Anesthetists and Physicians) specialize in the area of outpatient/ambulatory anesthesia. Keeping you safe and comfortable during your surgical procedure is a responsibility we take seriously.


We primarily utilize Twilight Anesthesia, also referred to as I.V. Sedation or Conscious Sedation. You are kept sedated throughout the outpatient procedure. In most instances, when your procedure is over, you are easily awakened for a speedy discharge to recover in the comfort of your own home.

When local anesthesia is used alone, you may suffer unnecessarily from the multiple local "numbing" injections and/or the anxiety you may have over the procedure. Twilight Anesthesia assures that you will not suffer the stinging and burning commonly felt during the local injections, while providing a safe, relaxed and comfortable state throughout your surgery.

For simple or minor procedures or for those patients who prefer to be completely awake, we can provide an essentially pain-free experience by sedating you only for a few minutes in the beginning during the local injections thus, allowing you to remain awake for the procedure itself. You are ready for discharge almost immediately after your procedure is completed. . Side effects such as nausea, vomiting, sore throat or disorientation that are typically associated with general anesthesia are virtually non-existent with I.V Sedation in the outpatient setting. In fact, most patients are so comfortable and awake after their surgery; they can hardly believe they just had an anesthetic!
