We primarily utilize Twilight Anesthesia, more commonly known as I.V. Sedation. With Twilight Anesthesia, you, the patient, are kept sedated throughout the outpatient procedure. When it is over, you are easily awakened for a speedy discharge to recover in the comfort of you own home.

When local anesthesia is used alone, you may suffer unnecessarily from the multiple local "numbing" injections and/or the anxiety you may have over the procedure. Twilight Anesthesia assures that you will not suffer the stinging and burning commonly felt during the local injections, while providing a relaxed and comfortable state throughout your surgery.

For simple or minor procedures or for those patients who prefer to be completely awake, we can provide an essentially pain-free experience by sedating you only for a few minutes in the beginning during the local injections thus, allowing you to remain coherent for the procedure itself. You're ready for discharge almost immediately after your doctor is finished. Side effects such as nausea, vomiting, sore throat or disorientation that are typically associated with hospital-based General Anesthesia are virtually non-existent with Twilight Anesthesia in an outpatient setting. In fact, most patients are so comfortable and awake, they can hardly believe they just had an anesthetic!


Outpatient surgery is a popular choice because it is extremely cost-effective and convenient for both you and your doctor. We accept assignment from most insurance companies and Medicare.
